Sorry for yet another question on this subject but... Having searched every darned manual, photo, parts list etc I can find I still can't find a definitive answer and I'm getting confused.
At the rear of the engine on the starboard side above the exhaust elbow (on the heat exchanger?) is what I am fairly confident is one of the coolant drain plugs. See here...
Now... I thought there was another in the vicinity of the dipstick but there appear to be 2, one above and slightly to the side of the other. They look exactly like the one on the heat exchanger. All of the 3 have nipples but no pipe to confirm for me what they are. See here...
So are they all coolant drains? And should they be done in any particular order when flushing etc?
Like I said, some manuals only mention 2, one manual says one is on the port side of the engine etc etc... Confusing!
