Hi, I'm about to replace the anodes on a 2GM20. The anodes i bough come with a small rubber like gasket. The manual also shows a larger gasket being necessary for the cylinder head anode but not for the cylinder block anode. Is this correct? And is the larger gasket he same as the thermostat gasket?
One other question while I'm here.... Is there a problem starting the engine after the winter before changing the fuel filter? I'm new to this game and would rather make changes incrementally - and make sure the engine still runs - but don't want to do this if running briefly on a dirty filter will cause other problems.
