I made the exact type of bimini using a horizontal pip bender as you don't get the issue of running out or room you get with a vertical bender like the one you shown.

This is the type of bender I use

Works well bolted to a bench bolted to a concrete floor or wall

Whenever I needed bends I would pay the £10 per bend at my local SS man. Now moved. If you know of anyone in Edinburgh area who does stainless work I would be pleased to hear.

Aye, but they refuse to do any work on boats regardless of whether they are afloat or on the hard. They'll make up things to your specifications if they can be made from standard stock.

I wanted a new chainplate in 5*45mm stainless with 3 bends and 8 holes drilled. They wouldn't go aboard to measure and could only offer to do it in 5*50mm. I can't recommend them.
