240v wash down pump

Spent time on google but not very successful..

Thinking you might get loads more bang for the buck and pressure with a (sea water) 240v wash down pump running off the inverter rather than 12v.... Not so sure now though...

Anyone done similar, links to the pump?

finds several but they are power hungry so the inverter idea might not be feasible

Add marine & results are similar to searches so far(not in UK)
Price seems to make it a wild goose chase.....

We use the watermaker boost pump as a deck wash down pump as well. Its a Stuart Turner k9. About 250w. Reasonable water flow but needs a flooded head being a centrifugal pump

We have a 12v washdown saltwater pump which gives reasonable pressure (can't advise make it's buried under locker floor) but if really bad, use small Karcher powered by Honda and water via deck wash pump, then rinse through with potable from galley tap.

But add seawater to the search then x 10 the prices....
Not after a submersible but washdown pump so will be fed from a seacock.
Not gonna happen don't think. 12v it probably is but always worth an ask

Those submersibles can just be dropped over the side without any plumbing and much better flow rate than anything 12v "marine". I have one at home for building work and they shift water very fast.
