20A-capable marine plugs and sockets ?

Hi,

I know of the Buccaneer ones but they are a bit bulky, does anyone else make a waterproof marine grade plug and socket that carries 20A ? I only need 2 ways.

Can we assume you are handling DC?

If so does it need to be splash proof?

Or is it in a protected environment?

I have a dedicated 20 amp fused supply for my dingy inflator pump, using a cigarette lighter plug /socket has worked well on my last three boats over 15 years without problems

I've just bought these Bulgin plugs sockets from Force 4 - not lighter sockets - much much better!

I found out that Digi-Key sell the new Buccaneer 7000 range and have decided to give those a try being a bit smaller and cheaper than the 32A-capable ones.
