Thank you for your response. She has 2 Volvo Penta D13s 1,800 total horse power. Can you explain what is post manufacturing snagging?

Yup. New boats always have faults, some are cosmetic, some are mechanical or electrical. Fixing them is called ‘snagging’ and is the responsibility of the supplying dealer or their agent. For a boat like this I’d be expecting this to take a couple of years to iron everything out. But not expect anything specific to break simply due to use or age.

It must be fully serviced for warranties to remain valid.

It should look and feel pretty much like new.

Also, anecdotally, some owners of new Princess models have experienced significant difficulties getting the works down to a good standard. So I’d recommend you employ a professional surveyor to review the boat in great detail before you commit.
I think I would employ a professional surveyor irrespective of the brand if I was spending that kind of money on a boat.

I would also ask oldgit for his opinion on the boat/engines/drives before deciding not to buy it.

Just stick to shafts and you will not go far wrong (y)
