Reeds Almanacs are always discounted. Nobody pays full price. My 2014 Nautical Almanac was less than £28 inc delivery.

Probably a misprint, should read:
Discounted 2014 Reeds Almanacs

Only if Amazon have the same misprint.

FWIW their best price for the Channel edition is £19.65, but of course you pay £2.80 delivery on that instead of driving to Portsmouth.

Only £27.49 from Marine Megastore ..... down side is that you might not get it until 2016.

I had an e-mail from Reeds offering a subscription. Sounded like a good idea as I use the ring binder type BUT I can still buy a new issue with a binder cheaper than just their insert. Strangely I am not taking them up on their kind offer.

I only need the port and tide data that's in the Channel edition, so that's what I buy. However, I have a vague memory of the Denmark-to-Gibraltar book (as used on various boats before buying our own) having far more general reference info in the front than the Channel version. Has that been cut down for all editions in recent years, or is it only reduced for the regional ones? And why do they think that medical advice (say) is not needed in the Channel or sunset times in the West Country?
