I do need to talk to them about their rules on single-handed sailing. Their terms have a somewhat vague sentence saying it's not permitted "overnight". Does that mean for a whole night evening to morning, or for any time at night (for example arriving into an anchorage at midnight). And regardless, what's the least restrictive term I can get them to agree.
(Not asking for other posters' interpretations of this term, it's the insurers I need to talk to.)

Yes, it states... "Warranted that no single-handed overnight passages are undertaken." I've understood that to mean as long as I don't sail all night, ie dusk till dawn, I'm OK. If you find out differently, please come back.
That's good to hear. Our new boat is with them, but my dad arranged it and I had no idea whether they were any good.
