2011 ECF Calendar

Hi Jomo,

I had a long chat with Neil on Friday, and as you suspected, he is up to his neck in new business start up stuff....

I think he'd really appreciate someone taking the calendar on, as he, quite rightly, is focused on his business right now!

Guessed as much - smug grin. I'm usually right - except when Joy is:o

haven't managed to get to the local printers, they're not open before I leave and close long before I get back. Jessops do an A4 wall calendar for a tenner, and assuming £1.50 for postage out (not yet checked) and say £1.00 for RNLI, we're looking at about £12.50.

I need:
1. Decision on which photos - unless you leave it to me this year, time seems to have become a little more pressing at the moment.
2. Full def copies posted on CD, or by email, to me, with copyright permissions, and owners names so I can give credit.
3. some sort of confirmation of the numbers still interested - I can assume the list is valid unless you post to remove names if you like.

Anyway, off to the coal face again, I'll update as soon as I can. Have a good day:D

Let's leave the choice of photos to Jomo - we've faffed for long enough!

If you choose any of ours (AliM or Vela Rose), PM me an email address, and we 'll send you the highest resolution images that we have.

Thanks for taking this on.

Jomo is hereby appointed ECF Minister for artistic stuff. He is boss, and you better do what he says.

My order remains intact, I look forward to it.

I second that appointment.
Here hang on a mo, I thought you said in another post that no one was in charge.

Anyway, Ian I have a photo that I would like considered for the calender so if you could PM me your e-mail address I will send it to you.
My request for 2 copies stands.

Ian

Not sure if this lot work out cheaper but it might make your life easier:

Why thank you kind sir:D.

Local Jessops have a deal on, price will drop to similar to last year. Will probably go for Flippers website, as the Jessops shop wont save the calendar for reprints, and it looks as though Patrick's website will, saving much repetition. Just got to work out how to do 'montages' now.

Thanks to those who've sent photos. If I've managed to get reasonably high res versions you may not have heard from me yet. I've got the day off on Sunday and propose to do this in one hit. I'd like anyone who's still interested to PM me their address and quantity required please, that way I'll have confirmation of numbers before pushing the 'confirm transaction' button.
I've had a couple of suggestions for start months from March to June. I propose to start the calendar from March, unless there's a majority in favour of anything else.
I liked the idea from the east coast pilot Burnham contributor about the characters, but I think we've left it a bit late this year. I propose that you all keep that in mind over the coming season. we can then have a proper selection for next years calendar, the organisation of which will no doubt be reverting back to the original sap...... I mean volunteer :)

Hola, almost finished sorting the calendar, just waiting for a couple more higher res photos.

So far only had a few addresses, the last list I looked at had a requirement for 57 calendars, I'm a little wary of ordering 50 odd if we're only going to push out 10!

Going to log out for a while now, fed up with computers for the mo.

My order stands Ian, thanks.
