Hi all ,have you seen March PBO it shows the International Paint antifouling competition results, the east coast area represented by our own forumite Jim Drew who antifouled his boat (Full Circle) with freeby Micron Extra in April 2010, good write up by Jim regarding the Crouch area the Micron performed well and he would recommend it.
Six other boats took part in the trials/competition from different areas in the UK all used International Antifouling, but varied types ie Micron/Uno/Optima/surprisingly all owners had
good results and the general view was that they would use them again.
I have never used Internationl Antifouling but judging by the above results it seems I should, but I have also had not so complimentary comments regarding these Antifoulings from boat owner friends, so have they put a magic ingredient into the 2010 paints or was the marine conditions just right at the right time?
PS Jim are you using it this year?
