Evening all . Hi Hullabaloo also . I believe from peeping into the forum you currently have a Prestige 38. We have just purchased ours and live it . Unfortunately the previous owner can offer very little info on the use of the Boat as he only had it for a shirt period . I was wondering if you can advise me on the dash board controls . Particularly the time clock button & auxiliary switch . There seems to be a toggle button with a clock dial on it and after a while out power to the TV and stereo seems to drop off we assume It is because of this Dial . Also I am wondering if you know where the inverter would be located thanks .

Did you buy it from Burton Waters? They had a very nice one up for sale recently?

Congrats on your new 38S. The 'clock' switch on my 42S turns on the chart plotter, VHF and TV/stereo. It shouldn't turn itself off.

Thanks for the replys all . we bought it here in Dublin Ireland. Appreciate the Nudge thanks ?
Was that the one in Malahide? (Well, pics were Malahide).

I bought my Smeraldo 37 9 years ago from Malahide

Out of all the questions in the world, on a boat that has hundreds of moving parts, you go and ask the two questions I don't know the answer to, I feel bad, I owned the boat for 3 year, I sold it last year. great boat for the money.
Mine did not have an inverter.
I can not picture this other toggle button, have you got a photo of it ? that might jog my memory.

All Good . Got it sorted. Found inverter and also the switch acts like a surge protector to much load on the entertainment power trips it . Thanks all for the reply.

Drakeford may have us back for Easter, he will take our fuel and café money then shut us back out.
Are you moving down south ? (can you take Bruce with you?)
if so where and when,
I'm not nosey, just jealous.
Bruce only goes as far as the line of sight of Pufin Island
