Hi, I want to fit an auxillary engine to my MF, I would like some advice please as to the best way to do it and what make of Bracket to use .

Don't know if there's much difference between the folding brackets. I would go for a long shaft outboard and really check there is no hitting of the two motors, try every combination of outboards up and down port and starboard. As the best thing is for the auxiliary motor to be permanently in place. Do you have the swim platforms either side of the main motor?

I can't remember the make but I had a aux motor on my MF625. It was a lifting bracket mounted on the starboard transom. I went for the Suzuki 6hp long shaft but it was only just powerful enough in calm sea and pretty useless in anything lumpy.
