We would like to wish all Scuttlebutt users and visitors and happy and successful 2003.

This greeting comes from the London Boat Show, where the Yachting and Boating World team has a small stand and production office alongside Classic Boat and Motor Boats Monthly (7A), just down the corridor from Yachting Monthly.

If you are visiting the show this year various members of the team will be on site throughout the show and we would be pleased to meet you.

Let us know via this thread which forum members have visited and if any celebs visit get them to put a message on as well. Especially Lucy from Faking it! :))

Hi Kim,

Came looking for you on Friday, but my timing was rubbish - you had gone to lunch. Pity, would have been nice to put a face to the name.

Enjoyed the show - used to go every year as a kid, but haven't been for at least 20 years. Still recognisably the same show. The major difference that struck me was the lack of wooden boats - didn't see one. Still, even more boys toys to look at.

Re: 2003 greetings and welcome from London Boat Sh

Sorry to have missed you but thanks for trying.

There's some discussions going on about Classic Boat assisting ExCel with a classic boat feature - hopefully the deal can be strung together. Just had a very interesting chat with a couple who own a steel-framed wooden-hulled boat and judging by the number of Classic Boat enquiries there is certainly strong interest, despite lack of boats.
