Hi, I’ve had the pleasure of damaging bot propellers on my 2002 aquador 23ht, kad32 170 with 290dp. Does anyone know the factory standard vp propellers size? Searched everywhere to no avail, told it would be stamped on the prop, it may well be be it’s not visibl. Any help/guidance would be great. Many thanks

Try Mark at Golden Arrow Port Solent he may have a record, if not he will do a prop calc.

A sealine S23 would be A4 so that would be my guess. Or J series but go up a number to J5.

I've got 2 sets of spare props that I've no use for. I'll check of they're a4 or a5. They were previously repaired due to some scuffs but I have used them in the past with no loss of performance (34kt on a zaffiro 34)

Thanks alt...I’ll find out what they are and give you a shout, if they suit I’d be keen to purchase assuming they’re for sale..please(everyone) excuse my spelling on the initial post, not sure what was going on. Bloody phone, mind of its own!

Appear's they're actually B5's, sorry. They were on a KAD43.

If they're of any use to you, you can have them for £200 UK delivered per set.

Hi guys.

Thought I’d add some. Just maybe remember that the kad engines have a nasty habit of throwing the general rule of b series props being for petrol and a series for diesel. The kad quite often of not always (in early days) uses the b series props like the petrol. I think because the supercharged engine perhaps behaved more like a petrol and didn’t have to wait on the turbo coming on boost the way the older engines did and with their suited A series props.
Either way, you should find the props you have now have a stamp on them both.
I’ll caveat all of the above by adding that these props have been now superseded by another range. Some will know better than I. J series perhaps. But there is a good chance you might have B4’s or B5’s originally.

A lightly damaged set recently cost me £122 to refurb including one way postage. I think the price is fixed if the job is achievable.
Streamlined propellers .

A new aftermarket set is £420
