Last day of work today and then 2 whole weeks to mess about on the water!! We need a little inflatable though, s/h preferably, leaves more cash to feed the engines insatiable need! We'll probably spend quite a few nights in Studland (little boat can't go far) have a flat bottomed fibreglass tender but towing it about is pain and doesn't half empty the fuel tank. Anyone know where I can get one? Poole/Bournemouth/Christchurch/S'ton.

Thought about towing out the one we have and leaving it on one of the Bankes moorings and returning later after doing some fishing- but not very sporting for people who want to use it during the day, so ditched that idea. Gonna have to be an inflatable - any idea's gratefully recieved.

get a small anchor for the tender instead or, even better, get a spare for the boat and leave the tender on it when you go fishing, returning to the anchor overnight.
You going to be in Studland this weekend? Couldn't find you last time but looked hard.

Cheap inflatables, eh? Try Force 4 (sometimes have 2nd hand) or somewhere like YotGrot in Lymington. Depends on what you class as cheap, but you can get a 2.2m slatted floor jobby new for £323 from Marine Super Store...

Someone is flogging off new do-nut dinghies on Ebay with current bid under £100. (Boats and watercraft). More than one of them.

I know nothing about their quality, but at that price, whose bothered?

I think they got warned off our own for sale board on the basis htat they can be sourced cheaper than that in many cateloges! - not much cheaper but a bit.
Boatsandoutboards is the best place for buyers and sellers to meet!

If you gat an inflatable you can get little electric pumps which run off a cigar lighter. Takes the drudge ouit it but you stll need to finish off with a larger hannd or foot pump.

You might also consider getting davits mounted on your boat for the rigid tender. A rigid one is more fun.
