2 stroke outboards outlawed from Jan 2007?

I hear you! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I bought a Seagull long shaft to use with my Devon Potter, I just didn't think that a modern motor would look or feel right on her. I got the Mariner 5 to power my inflatable tender, it is an airdeck with inflatable keel, a bit like a rib really, goes like one too, planes at about 15 knots, with just the Mariner five on it!..........I know, I is a hooligan! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Taking off the spectacles of nostalgia though, Seagull outboards are noisy, smelly, can be bu99ers to start, and they shake your boat to bits!...............having said all that, why do we still buy them? I did, but I kid myself it will suit the look of the Potter better, wont make her go any better though??...................

Anybody wanna buy a nice (almost mint) Silver Century LS with clutch............£199.99? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not if ya got a rubber duck they wont, you ever tried to row an inflatable in more than a wisp of wind!? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
