2 part button fasteners - sprayhood/cushions

Anyone know the name and/or make of this type of push-on fasteners that are two parts, one with a screw through, and the other riveted onto the back of a cushion or into the bottom of a sprayhood.

I need a small pack and the tool to rivet them with.

If I knew the name of it, I could google for it - but what are they called or known as??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Lift the dot fasteners. That's what I use on my cockpit canopy and cockpit cushions to stop them blowing away. Sure to be able to find some at the Calshot Boat Jumble on Sunday if it would help.

Snap fasteners...

I think you're talking about "snap fasteners". Widely available, there's a range of sizes here. Unfortunately, it's one of those framed websites which I'm not clever enough to link to properly - if you want to order, you'll have to go to the home page, then click on Products, then Canopy Fittings, then Canopy Fasteners in the left hand menu.

I found Lift the Dot fasteners, but didn't find the Snap fasteners.

I can order some now - I'm glad you said how to navigate the site!!

Have you seen the delivery cost - to UK mainland £9.00 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I'll have to think about ordering from them!!

You can pick these up at the London Boat show from various stands there - IF you plan on going up. I bought a pack of 100 for less than a fiver 2 years ago.
