Good morning,

I am looking for some paint & have found a company called Nautix which has a suitable colour, unlike Awlgrip or International. Has anyone used Nautix or can recommend a company that might supply my requirement?

Hopeful thanks,

John G

Nautix appears to be a French company. Probably shouldn't generalise, but going by the quality of their household paints, one thing the French don't do at all well is paint. I'd avoid it at all costs.

Spray Application use Awlgrip or Perfection.

Roll and tip use Perfection.

Why risk using some unknown paint to save 1/2p

Because they don't have the colour; willing to pay more than those cost for the required specification.

My feeling as well; thank you.

Try Marineware ( sales@marineware.com ) they're colour matching some paint for me (but I haven't collected or used it yet).

Thank you for that; "colours unlimited" yippee.

Yep, more or less. Funnily enough had 2.5l of white delivered about an hour ago lol. Speaking to one of their reps they recommend thinning 10-15% and then adding more coats. It can also be buffed back once fully cured.

I get mine from SML paints, excellent service. They also sell mini rollers suitable for solvent paints. It's going over jotun penguard HB Pure epoxy primer.
