I don't know if I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion but a few days ago Byron said

" In World War 2 I was torpedoed and sunk 4 times, (well it was my Dad actually but I was a Sperm in his loins at the time but technically I was there so to speak.)"

and today Tome on Scuttlebutt said "I still have the discharge book given to me by my ex father in law - he was torpedoed an incredible 4 times and on one occasion spent a couple of weeks in a lifeboat mid Atlantic before being rescued."

It may just be an incredible coincidence or it may be that ...

Byron, your ex-wife is on Scuttlebutt /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Come on Byron, put us out of our misery.

So forbsie how is you boat coming along?

For sale, 1970 Triumph Spitfire-sold, 1947 Lambretta, 1922 Great grandmother, PM for details.

Going great, thanks. Just spent a king's ransom at ASAP yesterday buying bits for engine and am going to fit them tomorrow but some bits still to come. Then lay electrics down and put all varnished bits back on.

Then probably take it out for the winter and start all over again. (Naw just kidding!)

I met h00 and Titch (she is who she says she is!) while I was up in Suffolk and had a trip out on George's beautiful Seamaster. Great fun even although the pub was shut and I'd offered to buy lunch (Does this sound familiar, Boatone?) In the end Teresa the Boat Babe stopped sunbathing in her bikini (or was it a sleeping bag? /forums/images/icons/wink.gif ) to make us a delicious round of bacon sarnies.

Still hoping to have my boat running this month if poss so I can move it before the Thames draw off next month.
