Can anyone help with any information about my 2 1/2 tonner of unknown design and builder??

She is currently called Alice, but i know this is not her origional name. She has spent time in Pin Mill and Aldeburgh and is now back in Pin Mill. 19 1/2' LOD, 6' beam and draws 4' ish.Construction is pitch pine on rock elm, copper fastened with flat roves. oak wood keel, stem and stern post. deck structure is pine. she has a lead keel with bronze bolts. all major fastenings are bronze except for iron bolts in the small dead wood aft of the keel.

she has much more of a spooned bow than most 2/12 tonners.

I have been to see Hillyards and drawn a blank, seen a Johnson and Jago and dismissed that avenue. The other possibility seems to be Dann Webb but i can't find any pictures or examples so comparison has been impossible.

She is a fantastic little boat and i would love to know more about her, i need your help web community!!!

more pictures of Alice are avalible on my profile. Thanks for the help so far! does anyone have any pictures of a webb and feasy 2 1/2??

Well in the past 28 years of boating i have seen many two and half tonners but none quite as pretty as this little thing, which leads me to believe that is a pre war colaboration between two Engluish and Polish designers known only as the Fenski's. Not much is known about the colaboration and if any other designs came from their table as they were largely rumoured to drink lots of sloe gin.

I hope this helps!

The shape of the bow is very reminiscent of my old Johnson & Jago, but the stern is more like a Blackwater sloop, especially with the bumpkin.
Many yards did not build strictly to plans but adapted to to suit the materials available or to please the eye.
