This may be a no but does any electrical boffin know if there is a clever connector between the new Raymarine gizmos and older B&G stuff? I like the old analogue screens and wonder if I can convert new signals to old ones and across providers thus running a new i70s screen alongside the older units?

Do you have the manuals for the old B&G instruments? If so you need to look and see if they output any NMEA0183 sentences. If they do check whether the Actisense NMEA0183 to NMEA200 converter accepts the sentence you need. For a wind instrument sentence MWV will normally be needed, and I connected an old VDO analog wind instrument to a new NMEA2000 system using an Actisense gateway.

I looked at this last year and Tinly indeed have a little box that converts the B&G data to NMEA 0183.
However you still need it to go through the old Hornet or Hydra system as it does not work with just the gauges.
At £350 I decided that maybe a couple of Vulcan 5's or tritons set to an analogue display might be a better bet.
