Agreed - that's fine. Also the stream of water running down in 5 o'clock direction from the three 25mm wide slots just above the cavitation plate, in the early part of the video, is spent cooling water and all correct.
Engine starts instantly when warm, which is exactly as it should be with that engine. Literally less than half a second of cranking till she fires
