I want to add some more flexible hose to my water system. This has 15mm push fit couplings with short stems of 15mm copper tube onto which flexible hose is currently clamped (with hose clamps). I would prefer to have 15mm hosetails rather than just a piece of straight copper piping (much less likely for the hose to come off) but can't see anything. Nearest is 15mm stem to 12mm hose tail - lots of these about. Has anyone sourced 15mm stem to 15mm hosetail? I have looked at all the usual suppliers and plus.

I know they exist because I have one in brass but no idea where it came from.

I don't know if you have tried them but ASAP Supplies Ltd carry a wide range of fittings.

Tried ASAP but no-one appears to have this. Have had a thought - will use a 15mm swager to increase one end diameter of the copper pipe. That'll keep the hoses in place. Remembered that a plumber friend gave me one back in the 1980s. No idea where that one is, but they are cheap.

Clamp an olive onto the 15mm copper pipe stub by overtightening with a 15mm conex fitting. Take the fitting away and the fixed olive gives you a “barb” to help retain the flexible pipe.

Good idea - will give that a try, too, though I've just ordered the swager ...

You could go 15mm compression to 1/2" BSP then 1/2" BSP to 15mm hose barb

I found one on BES and the other on ASAP

Compression Straight Adaptor - 15mm x 1/2

Maestrini Hose Tail (1/2" BSP Male for 15mm ID Hose)
