Hi, I need to replace a few plugs on the toe rails, 13mm plugs required but, can only find 12 or 15m. Is there a U.K. source of 13mm teak plugs. Cheers

If you'd posted this a couple of weeks ago we could have swapped 
I bought a set of plug cutters including 13mm, only to discover that the holes I needed to plug were only 12mm

How old is the boat? They could be 1/2" plugs, 12.7mm. Mine in the deck most certainly are.

a back saw & a sharp chisel will make a few pellets, in the right hands

You will also need a pillar drill. Don't attempt with a hand drill.

Aye laddie but there is no such thing as "scrap teak". They talk about "scrap gold" in the same way.

i have more teak than i will ever use BUT i always select a piece for a job "That is just the right size" as long as the grain is nice,to avoid any waste
