I have a small inflatable tender with a 3.5 hp outboard I normally inflate it with a foot pump am thinking about one of those electric pumps you can buy for around £50
Are they any good?
If so which one to buy?

I use an LVM, it's very good, expensive but worth it. It also deflates the boat totally very quickly making stowage a doddle.

Maurice, Take the advice given, get a good one. I thought l'd be clever and bought one from a caravan shop, think it was sixteen quid. Its about as much use as a concrete parachute!

Re: Cheap ones

My wife found one for me at a jumble sale (£2). It gets air into the tubes ok but not enough on its own. I have to 'finish off' with the foot pump, but its no big deal as while I'm doing that, its making a start on the other tube.
I don't think I would pay £50 for one.
