12v Powerful Reading Light

Anyone able to reccommend a 12v led reading light - warm white - that is actually powerful enough to read by comfortably? I find the diffused light from most led fittings far too dim for comfortable reading.
Fixed or flexible I don't mind - but the warm white and bright is the important bit.
Keen readers out there - advice please?

Our fittings take 20W G4 halogens, like a lot of domestic reading/desk lights.
You can get disc shaped LED replacements of 3W for a few quid. I think I got 2W ones, they are IMHO bright enough, but maybe not as bright as an actual 20W halogen.
The power of the bulb is one thing, the other thing is how far it is from what it's illuminating.
A light with a good reflector might get more light where you want it withthis style of bulb:

The G$ capsule lamps are good, better than the disc ones, I have a couple on my boat - the higher the lumens the brighter the light.
