It's a perfectly normal spam post. I think you'll find that Melanie is posting from India, possibly Pakistan. It's routine. The spammer joins, posts something mentioning the product and then moves on to another site to do the same. The search engines pick it up and the large number of hits on various discussion forums pushes the product up the Google search list. This thread has gone from 2 pages to 5 as a result of Melanie's post, which also helps the spammer's income. Better to click on the small triangle below the post to report it to the forum moderators rather than to post to ask why it has been posted.Any reason to resurrect a 4½ year thread apart from a bit of blatant advertising.
