12v from 24v series batteries

Not a cheap bit of kit, could buy 2 new batteries for that
the boat has 12 domestic, 12 engine , 2 genny and 2 tender batt's, total 28 pcs,
so it does make sense for me,
(especially it allows me to sort out the batts, take out the bad, and use the good ones one or more extra seasons ..)

on my domestic bank (6 pairs of 12V) I've installed 6 x Victron battery ballancers, isn't that overkill :)

Bart, 12engine batteries??? FFS!!! OK, I see the domestic and running the stabs with the two 8KVA Victrons, but engines, how many CCAs do these MANs need???

that is the orriginal setup, and never thought about changing it,
don't know the CCA, they are all the same type, 12V 105Ah deep cycle used to be Delphi, but now same batt also available from Varta and many others

the engine also start with 3 pairs instead of 6 pairs,
but now with the stabs it is very convenient to have the same capacity for each side / fin
a very nice and lucky coincidence

same as my original passerel, that is long enough so that it allowed for a retrofit hi lo platform, 1.5m long :)
