12v engine start battery

You could try charging it with a decent multistage charger that also has a "reconditioning" facility ......... you might be lucky and get a bit more use from it.

Its getting a slow trickle charge now. However I think it is due for replacement anyway. It just has to due one or two more starts to charge the domestic batteries off the engine. Then, recycling.

Sometimes they wont recharge from a very low state with a slow trickle charge.
