Is it just me, or are the prices for 12v marine cooling fans just totally insane!!?? Looking at some on Force4 site from about £80 to £150 !!!!!

I've been using fans with USB plugs and converters for less than £5. MUCH quieter than any 12v fan I've ever heard and have a surprising 'punch' for a 5v motor;-)

Agreed, I've never understood why 12v fans in a chandlery charge such high prices. I guess it's the "marine" influence, 240v desk fans are much cheaper.

I use Caframo fans out here in the Eastern Carib. $55 US about £40 The only other one that matches up is the Bosch at about double the price if you can find them.

Quiet enough to sleep with it running and low current drain.

The blades have a protector on them so when my curious cat [ AKA Hurty paw ] sticks his paw in he only limps a little.3-HURTY PAW 007.JPG
