Just been given this link by someone on a newsgroup forum, I thought I would pass it on. It is a 10.5 Mb Pdf, with broadband I managed to download at 35kb/sec so you non broadband folks might have to wait a while but it is worth it.

I would suggest that rather than just clicking the link at the bottom of the page you right click on it and save target as, you will get a faster download. There is also an alternator manual above it.

I only looked through it briefly, but I was really impressed by the content and easy to use diagrams and explainations. A big thumbs up.

p.s. The site is German, but the manuals are in English.

Julian - great post! I found it just after the red light came on my alternator. I carry a spare alternator (cowardy custard) but I'm going to see if I can fix the one that's gone wrong!

Thanks Jools. I've popped it in the reference section for when I get around to checking and upgrading.
Not that I'm fluent - but the site looks Dutch. Always had a soft spot for Dutch and the Dutch- shame that it isn't spoken more worldwide.
With a bit of imagination it's possible to create some basic words and phrases :

You're right - it's actually Dutch and a lot of its links are to www.boten.nl - another Dutch site.

Interestingly on the front 'page' of boten.nl is a poll asking reactions to the Dutch courts overturning a ban on using copper based anti-fouling.

(ex-SWMBO is Dutch so I learnt to speak it pretty well!)

Download the latest version of acrobat reader here <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html> here </A> (v6.0) and solve the problem.

Tried down loading it last night but at a speed of 1.4kbps it gave an estimated time of 3 hours so I gave up. My dial up connection was running at 38 Kbps so don't know where the problem is / was. Will have another go during the week from a broadband connection.

Thanks for that Jules. I'd tried the link direct form the site and it just seemed to hang .. I'll try your method. I see you've migrated from 'that other group' as well :-)

Site is working fine for me now, try saving target as rather then just clicking the link.
