12v automatic cut off switch/device

I'm installing a GSM alarm into the boat and will connect it directly to the battery.. Is there a switch or device that will stop the alarm from running the battery completely flat if I am away from the boat for an extended period? Something like a 12v cut off so when the battery goes below 12v it switches off power to the device..

Yes - usually used for fridges, which might help with your googling.

I certainly prefer this Maplin version as the cut-off voltage is adjustable and (if required) is suitable for much higher current usage.

The Waeco unit is preset at 11.6v. I wonder what use this battery might be in this condition without a recharge. It probably would not start an engine for example ?
