Hello,

I have a 12ft Latham Boatyard, Poole built clinker launch. She is mahogany on oak and circa 1927 build. She has a Stuart Turner R3MC inboard (not fitted at present, as is being rebuilt).

I am looking for someone who is keen for a fun, restoration project. Lack of time, skill and money prevent me from restoring her myself to the standard that i would like. As a result i am keen to find an enthusiast looking for a weekend/retirement project.

She is currently sat on her trailer in a barn in Surrey. She requires very liitle carpentry work, and essentially most things are cosmetic. She was cobbled together to the best of my abilities in order to get her on the water, but she was rushed. I want her to be perfect before she goes back on the water next time.

If you think you might be interested in a fun little project, please do let me know and hopefully we can get "Scrumpy" back on the water!

Many thanks

Chris

Not quite sure what you're looking for Chris. There seem several options: i) You're looking for a new part owner who would complete the boat. ii) You're looking for someone to finish the job for money or iib) for fun. iii) you want to dispose of the project either iiia) FOC or iiib) for an undisclosed sum.

Sorry; the more I looked at this the more confused I became. Only an old country boy ...

Hi Chris I have an almost identical launch built at the lytchette bay boatyard round the corner from lathams, mine is in use at the moment but i plan to have it stripped this winter and revarnished. Do you want to sell yours i would like another couple so i could hire them on the river near me to carefully selected clients . regards Andy

Yes, not sure what you're looking for here ... but if you do want to dispose of it as a viable project then please send me a PM with further details. I need to line up something simple to do after my Settimo Velo http://www.facebook.com/?sk=2361831622#!/group.php?gid=179427293999
