12-14\' Clinker Rowing boat hull

Hi

I am trying to source a rowing boat hull would love a wooden boat but my skills are limited so looks like it will be GRP . does anyone know who can supply such a hull or may have a mould I can rent/lend.

Try and find an old RNSA (14ft). Nice hull which sails and rows well.

At the boat show saw Salter bros of oxford they do 14ft & 16ft Skiffs in GRP i doubt they would sell you a hull though.
I know a bloke who has a mould for a very nice 18ft skiff she is fast & seaworthy and makes a fine pair oared sculling boat.
The rnsa 14 is no more a rowing boat than a bathtub is!

Alex Jordan of Jordan boats in Fife can supply you with a DIY kit which uses the stitch and glue method.

If you would like a real larch on mahogany char boat as used on Windermere there is a traditional builder up here called (oddly enough) Bowness.
Not very cheap though!
