I attended the West System Course at Romsey (Wessex Resins & Adhesives Ltd.,). It was a one day course and was well run. I had already done some GRP work before but I found that attending the course increased my confidence and knowledge about GRP. Cost, about a year ago, was about £110 but that included about £45 of goodies to take away and very generous allowance of materials to use during the course. Their telephone number is 01794 521111.
As mentioned in another reply, I was also looking into the West course in Romsey.
I think they have filled the next February date but given the interest here and their max class size of 12 we might have a quorum already?
Price about the same as last year i.e. just over £100.
Their main course is on basic GRP for small projects, another covers more extensive repair and laminating work.

I phoned West yesterday to discus dates and the lady said she had just received 4 new bookings. Looks like the course the week-end after next will approach 20 students but she said they pull more instructors in for a class of that size.
My plan is to now sign up for the post Southampton Boat Show class as this fits in with the refit schedule.
