1/8th copper or 4mm stainless steel for busbar?

A quick plug for Ox-gard. Said to be good at inhibiting corrosion and is itself a conductor. I've used it originally for a junction of copper busbar to aluminium lithium cell terminal and now on all major connections. Time will tell. Under a tenner for a small tube.
 
Hi have a look at the Furneaux Riddall website they have a selection of studs / busbars and joiners rated at 650 amps which may be of use.
 
I'm planning to join 3 x 12v battery negatives wires using a simple busbar. Of the 3 cables, the biggest is 95mm2, the other is 75mm2. My choices of readily available material is either 1/8th x 1 inch copper strip or 4mm x 25 stainless steel strip. I'm also planning to use M10 stainless steel bolts with locking washer to clamp everything together.

Which material would make the better busbar?

I found some nice 3 stud busbars on there that would be ideal ... but expensive. With only 3 cables a power-stud would be an acceptable and much cheaper option

For a decent quality job either of these should be mounted somewhere suitable and new cables made to suit the position. Anything dangling in the wiring is a badge , imo.

Thanks, Vic, I’m not an electrical engineer (evidently) but rest assured that there will be no bodge jobs on my boat. She's now 7 years old and this is how I keep the engine bay :)
