My batteries have reached the end of their useful so I'm gunna buy a couple of new ones. But do I buy 1 leisure and 1 Heavy duty or two Heavy duty. Currently the boat has two Heavy duty. The engine is a single 170hp petrol.

Wheres the cheapest place - were there any deal at SBS ??

Buy one HD and one leiure. the leisure should be deep cycle for your domestics and the starter should have cracking amps around 110 at leat 96.

I usually put them out at around £50 to give you an indication.

If they are linked together I believe they should be the same amperage, if they are not the more powerful of the two will always be trying to charge the other! causing problems.

If wired separately no problem!
