Oh woe and woe and woe again.........thrice woe in fact ....how wretched for you to be at that point of realisation that the only way your kilopost was to be recognised was by the very post itself drawing your achievement to the attention of us miserable matelots. Byron old chap, I'm sure I speak for all of us ....well, me, matts and BarryD anyway...when we say how sorry we are to have overlooked your elevation to the kilopostage. Are we forgiven? Of course we are. One so erudite and blessed as il presidente del banco norde di thamesis oxfordii cannot possibly bear grudge against such humble boaty chaps as us. Tell you what....we'll keep a bloody good eye open next time and promise to notice the duokilopost......grovel, grovel, and yet more grovel etc etc etc.........

Ah, 1000 posts eh! Does that mean you've now come of age or just passed it. Seriously tho its been entertaining, side splitting, and on occation? quiet informative.so when do you sell the serial rights to the sunday tabloids, sort of autopostography!
 
Ooer, I missed the party Byron, sorry about that and didn't even send a card. Agree with Syd re your elevation to King Byron though I thought it had already been done.

Have heard the odd comment such as "have you seen that funny\interesting post from King Byron". Admittedly it was a long time ago that you made a funny or interesting post, but keep up the good work and we all look forward to the next 1,000 (pass the sick bag Doris);-)

Oh and of course YOU especially can have my Christmas Card
 
Your timing, Byron, was perfect (well almost!). Just one hour after Les Ferdinand scored the 10,000th goal in the premiership you score your 1,000th post! So as they are having a goal of the premiership competition why not nominate what you feel are your three favourite posts. Your own of course, we could then have a vote and end up with a winner before Xmas! How about it!? Suggest that we use the Forum section so not to clog up these pages. (you can't refuse because you've already owned up to having not alot to do and we would all love it I'm sure)
