Seconded. They machined a new 1inch propshaft with all the correct tapers for me in 24 hours. Fortunatly they had a length of 1inch s/s in stock, otherwise they would have had to order it in. Excellent service.
Have a problem with depth sounder , which worked ok for several years before packing up . Dbox, Tducers and display all been back to manufacturer who say its all OK, but still playing up.

Read with interest, I have not found my existing kit reliable its been back to manufactures twice, who charged a fortune, and very disappointed with service.. So think I will take a chance go for NASA cheap & cheerful this time. which is still about the same price of getting my existing kit...
I believe the person concerned in this incident has many years experience and more sea miles under his belt that many others.. The mayday was an auto call from a DSC Radio which was activated by mistake whilst trying to resolve another problem. There but for the grace of God.... etc etc
Did any one listen to the radio traffic concerning this incident? Thankfully it turned out to be mistake. However I was amazed at how non responsive the coastguard were to calls from other yachts trying to relay information to them .

Does anyone have an old fully functional Garmin 128 or preferably a 126 GPS gathering dust in a locker somewhere they would like to sell?
