Dunno exactly but it would appear from his website that they are travelling a lot, going round the world (again). If they were infirm then it would probably have been reported in the media if not his own website - perhaps you could try sending a communication via his website...
I normally give the tiller over to my 'crew' as soon as possible - seems to calm them somewhat...
Nice lookin' boat by the way, good luck with the sale.
Interesting stuff. Any idea on how permanent it is - I was thinking about using it as an antifoul coating? Probably make the boat go faster in fresh water too!
Yes, you're definitely welcome as far as I'm concerned Horatio - you helped a fellow sailor to get their boat from A to B, I hope Ms. Ellie appreciated that. May I respectively suggest that you might need to grow a wee bit thicker skin if you venture into 'difficult' threads in the future...:)
Waaay too expensive I reckon. I bought my 2 stroke, 2hp, 10kg outboard motor from an Ebay seller in an auction 12 months ago for £110 and it is still in excellent condition...
PS: If you do buy one make sure you feed it 50:1 not 100:1 - should last longer.
Seems to me like a lot o' money for your wish list so you might like to consider the Trapper range of boats which should mean you will have some cash to spare for personalising it e.g electronics, home comforts, clothing etc. Checkout the dedicated website...
Rocks and mud both move it's just a case of when and by how much - you knew that though...
Isn't mud just a rock waiting to happen - not as hard, more moisture etc?
