I There how do you check the inside of a sail drive leg ? I clear the 3 holes of debris and push a long screwdriver up the hole in the bottom, there is always shell debris that falls out. I did consider putting a pressure washer down the entry hole in the water strainer, but thought better of it 😳

Thanks for the info. If could get hold of a 1010 I'd get one. There are a few in france but it means paying the vat again. So I started thinking of a new boat as at least you only pay one lot of vat ! probably end with what we've got for awhile.
