It’s ok but cannot be left open to the elements .

It has it's own RCD and MCBs, so no safety issues above and beyond a "normal" 240v supply to a small yacht.

As post #2, keep it dry and no problem.

As @Farmer Piles has said maybe consider a solar panel then it can keep the batteries topped up whether on a mooring or not

I did something similar in my previous boat - 19ft dayboat that we slept on - it worked well. Maybe also get a basic £30 solar panel...
