We were moored on a buoy in the Beaulieu River last week with our underwater lights on. Later on that evening we were treated to a seal playing in our underwater lights hunting the fish that were attracted to the lights. It was a magical experience.
Yes we saw them too when we anchored there on Saturday. It will be irritating on the next sunny day given they’re situated throughout the main anchoring area of Osborne, given the amount of boats ordinarily there.
Thanks everyone! As @dustywings says, when you see a pool of green coolant in the bilge it is somewhat alarming. I shall be more parsimonious with my filling in the future.

I’m back to square one on this one. Got a quote from MJM, but he says that they won’t strip out or refit. To my mind putting the furniture back together again and back into the boat is a critical part of the finish….

Yes! We walked to Mylor Bridge yesterday to the General Stores. A lovely walk. Planning to head up river to a mid river pontoon on the weekend and then perhaps an overnight trip to Fowey assuming they can take us. Can’t wait!
