I went to Wickes this morning to get 5l of their brick cleaner. On the side of the can it states that it should not be used Stainless Steel. What could be the consequences of using it on my SS props? I'm curious because I know various forumites recommend it.

Am I correct in thinking that the paddlewheel transducer can only measure speed??.....i.e. it would not have been installed for any other purpose.

If a sportsboat boat is fitted with a paddlewheel style thru-hull transducer (which I assume measures speed via its rotation) does that mean that the usual method of measuring speed via the small hole on the outdrives and the associated small pipe that connects to the lower unit become redundant?

I've used it on my sports cruiser for the past two years with excellent results. Each year when she is lifted out the marina staff ask me what antifoul I use because they can believe how clean she is.

There is nothing wrong with the original factory fabric, however it can have a tendency to stretch a little. Personally I find Vinyl more durable, easier to maintain and easier to dry if you suffer from SBS.
