i used the pontoons about 6 weeks ago. Gate worked fine but the electric at power service bollard was dead. All mcbs and rcds on so think it was isolated further back.

Yes it is a poor show. I understand the closure relates to unauthorised recreational boats. The pontoons will be occupied by "event vessels" We were looking forward to the weekend but only found out yesterday about pontoon closure so will be visiting on foot

Looks like a good weekend. Only problem is they are closing the short stay pay and display pontoons from midnight tonight until 6pm Monday. I believe they are offering alternate berthing in the graving dock.
