I'm looking at re-covering my berth cushions and am tempted to stay with the brown and beige cloth historically fitted to Sonatas, Impalas, Medinas etc
Unfortunately I don't know the manufacturer or code so wondered if anyone could advise?

Does this help any of your problems? It is a spare off my 3/4 tonner, now sold. It was my spare and I recall it being fine on wind speed but had a "blind sector" from about 270-360 degrees on wind direction. It is for sale.
Great boats and absolutely bulletproof.....affectionally known as "A Skip" in some Welsh clubs......originally designed with a fractional rig but changed to masthead for the class launch as it was felt to look more modern, given it was early 1960's.
One owner re-rigged his as the original...
With decent sails you might not find that much difference in light air speed........however on the longer trips I thimk you will see a big difference between 27 foot and 34 foot, both in average passage times but more obviously in comfort, particularly if there are any waves about!
Light winds are not their best conditions, although Force 4 is 11-16 knots so not exactly light.......some racier boats thinking about reducing sail at the top end of that range.
If you are Force 2 then a Rival can be quite sticky, but then again once moving there is a lot of momentum that can...
Almost certainly a Soling.....kite is 730-750cm on luff and leach, 518-558cm on foot.......Elvstrom actually sailed Solings so a very good chance that confirms it!
Boats in the same sail number range listed for sale on UK Soling web page so every chance that boat K151 (now GBR 151) still around!
Agreed that this is very sad and just fortunate that no-one hurt.
I know the continued interest in having a marina at Holyhead but as many of the harbour users know, whilst the harbour is an important place of refuge, that should not be confused with being a place without big waves or swells...
Not that long a shot as it happens.......I do have one, including the dump resistor but was planing to sell it along with the Aerogen but haven't worked out what the whole bundle would cost.
I have one in Troon, Scotland. It is a custom cradle with 6 legs and is commercial standard, so very heavy! However it does come apart at the corners so I could deliver and have family in Rochester!
There is an Avon Redcrest or Redstart (?) on the secondhand board at Kyle Chandlers, Troon.......I haven't any details but noticed it on Tuesday.
Give Kyle Chandlers a call on 01292 311880
from personal experience I wouldn't touch their wind instruments where the masthead transducer is just not fit for purpose, however I have found the log and depth units ultra reliable with very clear displays.
