No, it's you that's talking bollocks. A fall onto a single side attachment will kill you, it is not a "commonly chosen" way of working aloft. Lifting with a single side attachment will cause serious injury.
Wrong! With a side attachment the body will bend while lifting, potential for serious injury.
Proper harnesses have the lifting point at the back, between the shoulders.
As I read it, the big problem with this product is a LJ is not a lifting harness. Or should I say the majority of LJ's are not designed for lifting a person. Slipping out is one possibility.
Yes I know all that. To keep it simple, I was assuming the cost and weight of pipes and valves equalled the cost and weight of cables and relays. I think that was a reasonable assumption.
