I have a standalone clipper depth finder that has stopped working. It still has illumination and good 12v but just no display. It sometimes works briefly and then dies again. I'm thinking that with the transducer disconnected I should still have some kind of display right? Just trying to work...

Saw the plastic oil drum going up as i was going downriver on Saturday lunchtime. I did wonder how long the tree had been down and how long it will stay there. Still very wary of all the reed mat islands floating up and down, they tend to harbour larger prop killers lurking within.
