Not quite the same though,
MDL have offered 50% on account or 40% back in cash, for April
plus
50% on account for May, to use against next years berthing costs.
I am on F pontoon near the office , I think it is F14, I will need to check that before I arrive, wouldn’t want to upset the status quo by tying up on someone else’s berth as a new arrival...
I have to say the communications from MDL has been very good throughout, I received several emails as well one from the ceo saying they would do something for customers once they had a clearer idea of how long the lockdown would last, true to his word he has now Offered a choice of actual % cash...
I have just spoken with VTS and Hamble harbour authority and they have both confirmed there is no easing on the restrictions for leisure water users at this time. So no going out on the water yet.
As from Wednesday the easing of necessary travel will come into effect so we could effectively go...
I don’t think you will find that is correct, Where is your evidence of this occurring?? Something you heard and just couldn’t wait to post!
I’m sure as a berth holder, if I could be lifted and chose to do so I could pay for it myself and get any applicable discount, and as such I could also...
Indeed,
Putting the current Coronavirus situation to one side, if I found myself with limited income i would have to seriously consider what was important in my life and may indeed have to move my boat to a more cost effective location or heaven forbid sell her.

Either way, I haven’t paid yet and am adverse to doing so.
You would have thought as it was a berth...
Having been away from the water for a few years we decided this year we would dip our toe again & buy another boat , this we did over the winter having found just what we had been looking for, in need of very little by way of Tlc and ready to go the thought of getting back out on the water again...
Yes that is pretty much what I was told. We are going to view berths at Shamrock Quay tomorrow so hopefully we will be back where we started all those years ago...excited
Just spoken to Barry the Manager at Shamrock Quay, apparently MDL berth holders now have an unlimited number of free berthing nights that can be used at any of their Marinas on something called Freedom , much better than how i remember it, i am sure in the past when we visited the west country...
Newbie to the forum but an old..er hand on deck. We sold our boat several years ago , work commitments meant we just did not have time, we have missed being on the water ever since and now find we have sufficient time with our work life balance to get back afloat.
We used to be with MDL at...
