Yes, reminds me of someone trying to get a boat only two feet shorter than Koko Kai (and from the same yard, to boot), alongside the fuel pontoon at Gosport... Not pretty!
That's one reason why, on my yacht, we have two four man life rafts, rather than one eight man one. Another important factor is that an eight man raft with, say, two people in it, is a recipe for trouble...

Just had a call from Feedback... They're interested in using the story, but are checking to see whether Kevin Young's piece (linked in the first post here) related to a broadcast item... If it did, it's legitimate 'business' for them...
